First appearance for Zoe and Kevin after completing their training

We are delighted to have reached another milestone as Zoe and her handler, Kevin, gain their operational accreditation and are now ready to tackle drug detection operations and to deliver education programmes throughout the islands.

Zoe, a 2 year old Labrador cross supplied by Vikkas K9 Ltd in Lincoln, has been put through her paces at Northlink Terminal, Stromness as she welcomed passengers and staff arriving on the morning ferry. This gave us the opportunity to show off her abilities to deter, detect and disrupt those involved in bringing illegal drugs into the county and was also an opportunity to introduce her to locals and visitors.
