A fantastic day at the 2023 County Show

We had a fantastic day at the Orkney County Show yesterday.

Having a stall at the show gave us an excellent opportunity to meet members of the public and increase the public awareness of our charity’s work.

Our board members, handler Kevin Moar, and search dog Zoe were at the show throughout the day and had the chance to speak to members of the public.

We’d like to give a huge thank-you to everyone who visited the stall and contributed towards our fundraising efforts.

We ran a Pot of Gold competition, which raised a fantastic £250. More than half of this goes to helping the charity with the £100 going to our lucky winner Lorna Whyte.

We also ran a Toy Tombola which proved to be a hit with the kids. Another massive thank-you must go to everyone who responded to our call for toys and donations for this.

The generosity of the Orkney public always blows us away whenever we ask for donations.
